Pandemic Legacy: Season 2
The world almost ended 71 years ago. An epidemic appeared out of nowhere and left the earth almost desolate. Most people died within a week. Nobody could stop it.
For three generations we, the last remnants of humanity, have lived at sea, on floating stations called havens. Far away from the disease, we can deliver supplies to the mainland and only just keep both them and ourselves alive. So far we have been able to maintain contact between a network of the largest known cities with life, but over the last few years cities far from our havens have stopped showing signs of life. Tomorrow a small group of us will head out into what is left of the world. Who knows what we will find?
Pandemic Legacy: Season 2 is an epic gaming experience in which you work together against the game itself. As the game progresses, the story as well as the game and its rules will change. You should therefore share the experience with the same gaming group every time. Every game will develop differently. You will be tearing up cards, changing the game board and opening lots of small, exciting boxes. Once you have played through the game's 12 scenarios (around 20 games, depending on how you get on), you will have 'completed' the game and destroyed it in such a way that it cannot be played again. But it is well worth it.
If you have not played Pandemic before, we recommend starting with the original base game here. Pandemic Legacy can not be combined with other games in the Pandemic series. The game is available in either a yellow or a black box, and the contents are the same.
