On The Brink is the first expansion to the popular cooperative game Pandemic .
On the Brink introduces various modules that can be added together or individually to the base game. What the modules have in common is that they increase the difficulty of the game.
Virulent Strain makes one of the four diseases extra contagious and deadly.
The Mutation introduces a new disease with the color purple, which behaves differently than the other four from the base game.
Bio-terrorist Turn one of the players into an evil terrorist who tries to sabotage the others' game by spreading diseases around the board.
In addition, the expansion also includes additional roles, new events, and components for a 5th player.
