Perilous Pond
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Perilous Pond is a game about rolling dice and trying to make the most of the final result. Doing so is something of a spatial puzzle, in which you move your frog to a position with plenty of options for future rounds while still keeping safe from the pike. The game is suitable for everyone: a simple and fun mechanism that children master easily, and a depth of strategy that gives the game another dimension.
The pond is not a static playing area. As you and your opponents move your frogs around and chase fireflies, the pond changes. When a frog hops across the pond, the lily pads are first submerged, and if they are hit again they sink completely. This makes the pond harder and harder to navigate as the game progresses.
