Pitchcar
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Wooden racing game from French publisher Ferti, designed by Jean du Poël. The track is assembled from 16 sections, 6 straights and 10 curves with guardrails, and each player flicks a small wooden car around it with one finger.
The aim is to find the best line through the bends and use the guardrails, because a car that tips over or leaves the track is penalised. The rules include suggested layouts, but the sections can be put together in many other ways, and the game can be extended with the Pitchcar expansions. Pitchcar won the Spiel des Jahres special award for dexterity games in 1996.
