Anticipation – Nizovtsev, 1000 pieces (Paperblanks)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Jigsaw puzzle from Paperblanks with Victor Nizovtsev's painting Anticipation from the Wonder & Imagination series. The image is a mermaid surrounded by floating lanterns.
Nizovtsev was born in Siberia in 1965, trained in St Petersburg and lives in Maryland. He builds up his pictures in transparent layers and blends an academic idiom with surrealism; he draws his subjects from the stories of childhood. Paperblanks uses sturdy blue cardboard and a decorative, embossed paper like that on their hardbound notebooks; all paper comes from sustainable forestry, and the cardboard is 100% recycled material.
