The Seasons – Mucha, 1000 pieces (Paperblanks)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Jigsaw puzzle from Paperblanks with Alphonse Mucha's The Seasons from 1900 — a series of four decorative panels in colour lithography, printed by F. Champenois in Paris. The four panels show spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Mucha (1860-1939) was Czech and one of the leading names of the art nouveau style. The muted, complex colours and the soft lines marked a shift in art history. The series from 1900 is now held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Paperblanks uses heavy blue cardboard and a decorative, embossed paper like that on its hardbound notebooks; all paper comes from sustainable forestry, and the cardboard is 100 % recycled material.
