Van Huysum, 1000 pieces (Paperblanks)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
A jigsaw puzzle from Paperblanks with Jan van Huysum's flower still life from around 1715, which hangs in the National Gallery of Art in Washington. The design belongs to the Still Life Burst series.
Van Huysum (1682-1749) is regarded as the greatest of the Dutch flower painters, and his arrangements never stand quite still: the flowers spill over the edge, and the fruit lies as if it had just been put down. Paperblanks uses sturdy blue cardboard and a decorative, embossed paper like that on its hardbound notebooks; all paper comes from sustainable forestry, and the cardboard is 100 % recycled material.
