Robo Rally
A fast-paced, chaotic and insanely fun racing game where players control small robots around dangerous test tracks with lasers, bottomless pits and conveyor belts.
Players must initially pre-program their robot's movements based on some assigned cards that tell them whether the robot should turn, drive straight, turn around, etc. If you are not quick enough, some of the robot's movements will be randomly programmed.
When all players have programmed their robot, you turn over one card at a time and lead the movement. During a programming round, things can go horribly wrong if your robot is pushed, driven too far by a conveyor belt, or if you simply program it incorrectly, and chaos and unintended movements can quickly ensue.
Robo Rally is an older game from the 90s, but it still holds up today. This is the 2016 edition, where the appearance of both the pieces, box and game board has been given a major upgrade.
