Root is an adventure game where two to four people fight for control of the forest.
Each player controls a faction of animals and each faction plays very differently. The infamous Marquis de Cat already has control of the forests and is trying to hold on to it. The Alliance is now constantly trying to strengthen their position and overthrow the Marquis. At the edge of the forest, the former rulers of the forest, the Eyrie, are rallying behind a new leader and hoping to reclaim their former throne. They all have the opportunity to get help from the wandering vagabond and all, including the vagabond, have different ways to win the game.
Root is a game that will immediately make you want to play again! The opportunities to try your hand at the different factions give it a really high replay value and make the games enormously varied. A really good game for the experienced board gamer.
