Generations before you have lived by harvesting the resources of the sea. But at the end of the 19th century, change and new opportunities reach your small fishing village in northern Norway.
In Saltfjord, you must decide whether to expand your settlement with new buildings, send your boat out to fish, trade with others, or develop new technologies that can make everyday life easier. How will you shape the future of your village?
Place dice on your board to activate the various buildings. This provides resources and activates actions such as sending out your fishing boat, advancing on the various technology tracks, completing trade orders, or constructing new buildings.
The game contains many variable elements in the setup, such as what special abilities and end goals are available.
