The Salton Sea is a unique place located in California, very close to the border with Mexico. The characteristics of this salt lake make it a unique place to generate geothermal energy that takes advantage of the heat of the planet. In this area of intense geothermal activity, you will drill into the ground and extract brine, which, once processed, will allow us to extract the valuable lithium and sell it as part of a modern industry, far from fossil fuels, allowing you to lead the energy transition towards a completely renewable future.
Designed by David Bernal and illustrated by Amelia Sales, Salton Sea can be played solo or in groups of up to four players in sessions lasting approximately 120 minutes. During the game, players must manage their geothermal lithium mining operations to achieve the highest score. The extraction of this material and its subsequent processing will be the driving force behind your operations.
However, there is no single path to success. The game rewards you for depleted land, completed contracts, short-term goals, business development, or research progress. Will you master the power of the Salton Sea and create the most efficient geothermal company?

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
