Schadenfreude
In stock at the following stores: Games Aarhus
Schadenfreude is a trick-taking game for 3-5 players. The game ends when a player has scored more than 40 points, and the winner is the player closest to 40 without going over.
The card distribution includes some ranks with a negative value, it is a must-follow game, and it includes no trump suits.
The winner of a trick is the person who played the second-highest card in the suit led. That player collects their card and any cards that did not follow suit into a scoring pile. However, a player may have at most one card of each rank in their scoring pile. If they collect a second card, both cards are discarded instead. At the end of a hand, a player scores points equal to the sum of the ranks of the cards they have collected.
