Not all hands are created equal, but in this game you get to rewrite your destiny. In a highly strategic twist on the classic Daifugō, players use special "segments" to change the digital numbers on their cards, transforming weak hands into powerful moves. Whether you're adding bars to a 1 to make it a 7, or trimming a 9 to a 3, the key to victory lies in clever reshuffling.
Segnum is a game inspired by ladder climbing and disposal, where players manipulate the numerical values of their cards using physical segment chips. Each turn, players can play cards, discard to earn segments, or use them to change card values to form valid sets. But there is a price to hoarding resources: unused segments at the end of the game result in penalties, while perfect efficiency gives bonus points. Planning when to discard, how to reshape your hand, and when to hit adds a layer of tactical depth that rewards foresight and flexibility.
