In Setup, you're all about making sets and scoring points so you can move your piece around the board. The number of points you get in each round depends on how good you are at spotting sequences and playing sets that create multiple combinations on the board. Even when it's not your turn, you can trick your opponents by creating sets using your bonus pieces, so keep your eyes open.
The pieces are stacked on top of each other, so it's not certain that your plans will be carried out. The game becomes even more strategic when played in teams, where you have to help your partner create sets and give each other bonus points.
