We have created a series of chess combinations of boards and pieces that we believe make up some truly cool chess sets.

The AARHUS chess set consists of:

  • A chessboard with a square size of 40 mm, crafted from maple and mahogany. The board has a silky-smooth surface, and with its narrow frame, you get a beautiful chessboard that does not take up much space. The board is adorned with a simple pattern along the squares. Felt pads are attached to the bottom in each corner, ensuring the board stays firm and stable when playing.

  • Weighted chess pieces with a "German knight" design, crafted from boxwood and rosewood with a king height of 70 mm. The pieces come in a sturdy cardboard box.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.

If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.

Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.

Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
