We have created a series of chess combinations of boards and pieces that we believe make for some really cool chess sets.

The HELSINKI chess set consists of:

  • Chessboard with a square size of 40 mm, made of natural wood and walnut. The board has a silky smooth surface, and with its narrow frame, you get a beautiful chessboard that doesn't take up much space. Felt pads are attached to the bottom at each corner to ensure the board stays firm and stable while playing.

  • Beautiful wooden pieces in the classic Staunton design with a French-style knight and green felt bases. In this set, you get a complete set of weighted pieces in dark-stained and natural rosewood. They also come in a lovely wooden box, which can be used for storage. This set has a king height of 70 mm.

If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.

Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.

Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
