We have created a series of chess combinations of boards and pieces that we think make for some really cool chess sets.

The Kiev chess set consists of:

  • Brown chessboard from Philos with notation on all four sides. The board is made of maple and sapele and has a square size of 40 mm.

  • Beautiful wooden pieces for your chess game in the classic German design and with a green felt base. The pieces feature what is known as the "German knight". Brown and Light Combo.

In this set, you get a complete set of weighted pieces in sheesham and boxwood. The base is weighted so that the pieces do not tip over, and they also come in a nice wooden box that can be used for storage. This set has a king height of 77 mm and fits a board with 40 mm squares.
