Stubborn Mules
Galloping mules, stubborn mules, mules that keep changing direction: this race is pure chaos, because the mules keep running away - and coming back again.
Stubborn Mules is a simple but tactical racing game in which the first across the finish line is not necessarily the winner. Each player is assigned either a mule or a man piece in a unique colour. On their turn, the player rolls the coloured dice - and may move a mule or a man in the colours rolled. If 2 of the same colour are rolled, the piece moves one space back instead. The next player may choose to keep one of the dice results and move that piece again. Moving the other players' pieces can be an advantage - the first mule to cross the finish line only wins if all the other mules also reach the finish and the last piece on the board is one of the men. If, on the other hand, a mule is the one left alone, that player wins. Players therefore have to decide during the game whether they want to finish first or last - and try to move the pieces accordingly.
