Climb the social ladder - or kick it over.
The tricks in the game "Tax the Rich" are a set of cards depicting characters from various social hierarchies, from the poor to the president. Each round begins with a simple bidding phase to determine both the trump suit and the number of tricks required to score bonus points. The winner of the bid must then acquire the necessary number of tricks along with their ally.
The game is played as a trick-taking game where those with the highest social rank are the strongest cards. However, if all remaining cards in your hand at any point have a flag symbol, you can trigger a "revolution" by revealing your cards. This turns the social hierarchy upside down, making the lowest-ranked cards the most powerful. After calling for a revolution, you are publicly exposed and play the rest of that round with your cards face up.
The game includes thirteen rule cards that add variation by giving certain character cards special abilities related to their profession: Workers "organize," billionaires "power grab," police "stop and frisk," scientists "debunk," etc. You can play with random rule cards or use one of the scenarios suggested in the rules.
With an optional variant, players can also collect cards with a feminist icon to trigger a feminist revolution, increasing the value of all female characters.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
