Casino dice are most often used for the game of craps, where the goal is to roll 7 or 11 with two dice on a large table with a crowd of cheering spectators. Due to the casinos' strict quality control and sometimes their superstition, the dice are changed frequently. This can also happen during a change of guard, if the dice fall to the floor, or if a high-roller wants to change the dice for no particular reason other than that he or she feels unlucky.
