The Great Dalmuti
Get rid of all your cards and rise through the ranks.
The Great Dalmuti is a card game consisting of 80 numbered cards and 2 jokers. The number on a card shows both its rank and how many of that card there are in the game. For example, there are 12 cards with the number 12, and only one with the number 1. The lower a card's value, the higher its rank.
The cards are dealt out to the players, whose aim is to get rid of them as quickly as possible. The starting player plays one or more cards to the table - the cards must all have the same value. The other players must then play the same number of cards of a better rank. The round continues until all players have passed. The player who last got rid of cards starts the next round. When everyone has run out of cards, the players are ranked - the player who got rid of all their cards first becomes The Great Dalmuti. The players now change seats so that their positions reflect the new hierarchy, and the next round begins.
This is a special edition from 2020 with a Dungeons & Dragons theme.
