Asymmetric naval game for two players about the Battle of the River Plate in 1939. One player commands the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee, which must sink five merchant ships in the South Atlantic without being found; the other commands the Royal Navy, which must find and defeat it.
Each side has its own deck of cards: the German moves secretly, while the British hunt based on the clues they receive. When the ships meet, the game is decided in a final naval battle, and the side that has taken the least damage wins. It is a short wargame under one hour, where the focus is on hiding and finding the opponent rather than rules for units and terrain.
