In The Last Wardens the year is 1975, and you play a cell of unlikely heroes and antiheroes who, with chainsaws, explosives and abilities that have no scientific explanation, defend an unsuspecting world against the chaotic mutations that the Great Drift has unleashed.
The genre is retro-cosmic grindhouse horror, where tight jeans, tentacles and an absurd amount of blood meet.
