The White Castle Matcha Expansion
The tea ceremony is at the heart of Japanese culture and gives life to the most essential and fundamental concepts, such as hospitality, respect and Zen philosophy. There it is believed that tea, which came from China in the 13th century, cured the health problems of the Buddhist monks who drank it. Over the years the tea ceremony evolved to offer the samurai a place of calm, far from the chaos of the battlefield.
In The White Castle: Matcha you have to manage a new location where you can influence the court with the help of new members of your clan. Having members of your clan in good positions in the Chashitsu (the tea room) will help you gain a greater degree of influence in the court of Himeji. You will also have one extra action in each round. Will it be enough?
The first edition contains The White Castle: Promo 4, packed in the expansion box. It is currently not available on its own.
Must be played with the base game and the Matcha expansion.
Contains 3 dice tiles, each with Chasen on the back. When setting up the game, replace the 3 dice tiles that give a resource of your choice with these 3 new tiles.
