Ticket to Ride: Europe (15th Anniversary)
A fine luxury edition of Ticket to Ride: Europe, published for the game's 15th anniversary.
Ticket to Ride is a remarkably simple and fun game about building railway routes in Europe. The game can be learned in 3 minutes, yet it offers both strategic and tactical challenge.
The players collect different train cards that match the colours of the routes on the board. Once a player has collected enough cards of the same colour, they can be handed in and the player may then place their train carriages on the route. The longer the route, the more points the player scores. The players try to build routes that match their secret ticket cards, which score points at the end of the game.
Ticket to Ride: Europe introduces new tunnel and bridge routes, as well as station buildings that make it possible to use one of the other players' routes to complete one of your tickets. This means it is not as easy to block your opponents as in the first Ticket to Ride.
Ticket to Ride is a hugely popular family game. The rules are simple, but the game still offers many interesting choices and decisions.
