Tokaido is a zen-like strategy game where each of you embarks on a pilgrimage along the legendary Tokaido Road. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to have a lot of exciting and enriching experiences, such as meeting new people, tasting new food and seeing amazing views. Throughout the game, each player receives points for what they experience. When the journey comes to an end, the player who has had the most enriching experience wins.
The calm pace, simple gameplay, and beautiful design make Tokaido a game that is very suitable for beginners in strategy games.
This is the anniversary edition, which is slightly different from the original edition, with changed artwork, larger maps, and new meeples.
