Kaptajnerne sendes til en af otte handlinger – udforskning, minedrift, handel, teknologi, militær, produktion, politik eller omni. Når en kaptajn har handlet, kan de andre sende besætning til samme handling med nedsat styrke, og feltet er derefter blokeret til næste runde. Point gives for udforskning, flådeindflydelse, teknologi, handelsnetværk og pladser i det galaktiske senat.
