Twilight Struggle is a strategic, card-driven Cold War game for 2 players.
As the Soviet Union and the USA respectively, the players enter a 40-year struggle to become the most influential and powerful nation in the world. They need cunning and strategic sense to subdue the other side in key regions around the globe, in international conflicts and through the space race.
At the same time the players must show caution, because with growing armament and military tension an all-destroying nuclear war lurks just around the corner, and the game can end abruptly if this threat is not dealt with.
Twilight Struggle is one of the most popular and critically acclaimed strategy games of recent times. It is heavy and full of options, so it is not for beginners. Every card refers to a historical event that took place during the Cold War, which makes the game more thematic than it looks on the surface.
