Typeset

You are old-fashioned typesetters, building words letter by letter for use on a printing press. As the letters come out, you have to plan and place them accordingly, while carefully using your vowel bank to reach a higher score. Use the tools of the trade to bend the rules and make combinations that give you the bonus letters you need to win.

On a turn, in both solo and multiplayer, a random consonant is turned face up for all players to use in building words on their player cards. The catch? Every letter placed must go in the leftmost empty space of a given line. Players may freely use their vowel bank before and after to help, as long as they have not run out. As more consonants come out, the words become harder to fit together and certain letters become more attractive. Certain actions, such as taking difficult letters or using the special ability, result in bonus 'wild' letters of your choice that secure the last pieces of your word puzzle. There is limited room for error, and the letters themselves have no value - only word length counts for scoring. After every fifth letter, each player can individually opt out and score their card, or risk another five letters that could ruin everything ... or fit in beautifully.
