Catan 2015: Cities & Knights (English)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
In this expansion for the classic Catan board game, the days of sitting back and passively harvesting raw materials are over.
The island of Catan is under attack from fearsome barbarians, who will of course try to plunder your cities. So besides keeping an eye on your opponents, as you are used to from the base game, you also have to build up an army that can keep the barbarians away.
Cities & Knights also introduces three new resources, which can be used to build city improvements, as well as some new development cards that make the game even more exciting and varied.
This expansion is recommended for anyone who loves the base game but would like an extra strategic dimension.
Note: The English edition of Catan has wooden pieces and larger cards than the Danish one, so it only works with other English expansions. In addition, the 2015 edition has thicker terrain tiles, which fit the 2015 base game best.
