Catan (also known as The Settlers of Catan) is a strategic trading and resource game in which the aim is to build the largest realm on the island of Catan. During the game, resources are collected from the board and through trade with the other players, to build new cities, houses and roads and to buy development cards that hold advantages which can be used to get closer to victory.
NOTE: This edition of CATAN is the 2025 edition. There are a number of visual differences between the 2025 edition and the 2015 edition. The cards have a new look and are visually very different. It is possible to combine the 2025 edition with, for example, the 2015 expansions, but there will be a marked difference in appearance.
